## Plasma session with Big Picture started at login: works (2026-10-01, night)
- `~/.config/autostart/steamify-bigpicture.desktop` (`Exec=steam -gamepadui`) in the normal Plasma Wayland session, SDDM autologin set to
`plasma.desktop` (`pkexec /usr/lib/steamos/steam-set-session plasma.desktop`): Big Picture opens by itself, smooth, no artifacts, no
KWin environment variables needed. Exiting Steam leaves the Plasma desktop, no relogin.

file in `/usr/share/wayland-sessions`) only decides WHEN Big Picture starts; the plain autostart gave the same result.
