theupriser	079e725ba8	feat: "Start Steam silently in desktop mode" is opt-in (it was always on); an existing systemd unit counts as on and is migrated by the update	2026-10-02 10:16:40 +02:00
theupriser	fbdad5a785	feat: the silent option is Steam's own autostart entry (~/.config/autostart/steam.desktop with -silent), so its "Run Steam when my computer starts" follows it; the systemd unit is gone	2026-10-02 09:28:03 +02:00
theupriser	2e51d1d3f3	feat: "Start Steam silently" sub-option for the SteamOS conversion (silent) and Gaming on NVIDIA (nvsilent)	2026-10-01 23:04:18 +02:00
theupriser	b948c2020b	feat: --defaults applies the default setup without the menu, also from an installer (no session): the base for a Steam Machine ISO ... systemctl --user goes through user_systemctl, which only changes unit files without a session; the theme lets Plasma build Vapor's layout at the first login when the layout is still /etc/skel's; a one-time first-login autostart sets up single user's launcher and opens the app.	2026-09-27 19:21:28 +02:00
theupriser	8ffa0f2449	refactor: systemd units in services/, read with service_file like patches/	2026-09-27 15:58:41 +02:00
theupriser	69a420b8aa	feat: The script is now steamify.sh ... - setup-gamescope-boot.sh renamed to steamify.sh; all references updated. - Releases publish the bundle as steamify.sh and, for older install commands, setup-gamescope-boot.sh. - The Steamify shortcut runs steamify.sh.	2026-09-24 12:33:43 +02:00
theupriser	b91fa4bc83	fix: Replace the question flow with a menu that turns components on and off ... - Menu detects what is on and applies only the changes: SteamOS conversion, SteamOS theme, Steam Deck/Machine icons, single user mode, and Steam Machine support (only on Fremont hardware) - Everything is reversible: KDE settings go through an undo journal (lib/state.sh), system files are restored from their backups - Steam Machine support: LED driver, udev rule giving the user the LED files, steamos-manager for Steam's hardware settings; OpenRGB dropped - Edit Plasma files only while plasmashell is stopped so it can't overwrite them - README and AGENTS.md describe the menu, the component model and the test environment	2026-09-23 15:16:46 +02:00
theupriser	a0bc385765	fix: Add single user no password option with SDDM, fetch newest Vapor presets ... - One wizard question: "single user, no password, like SteamOS" switches to SDDM (autologin via CachyOS's own steam-set-session, no workarounds) and removes lock screen, user switching and log out (launcher shows only Sleep/Restart/Shut Down; Meta+L and Ctrl+Alt+Del unbound). Declining keeps the current login manager and KDE's defaults - Look up the newest steamdeck-kde-presets from Valve's release repos and verify its SHA-256; take over the new SteamOS 3.9 defaults - Restart plasmashell through systemd so the desktop keeps the session's dark theme; drop the bundled icon in favour of Valve's and Steam's - README and AGENTS.md updated	2026-09-23 14:46:45 +02:00
theupriser	4ad6c2c04e	fix: Fix setup bugs, add SteamOS desktop look and LED driver, split into modules ... - Fix session switching: sync bridge only edits [Autologin], sync service no longer hits systemd's start limit, re-runs don't duplicate settings - Make the Return to Gaming Mode shortcut work without a password prompt - Steam desktop autostart only runs in Plasma, not inside gamescope - Vapor theme: fix install path, wallpaper, icon and color scheme; take over Valve's SteamOS defaults, GTK theme, panel layout and dark mode; always fetch the newest steamdeck-kde-presets with checksum verification - Steam Machine: install kernel headers and build/load the leds-valve driver reliably; ask before installing OpenRGB - Split the script into lib/ modules per responsibility - Rewrite README for end users with a technical details section; add AGENTS.md	2026-09-23 14:24:06 +02:00
